The Data Management Group is a research group under the Department of Civil and Mineral Engineering at the University of Toronto. Program approval and funding of the group is the collective responsibility of the Cities of Hamilton and Toronto; Metrolinx; Ministry of Transportation of Ontario; the Regional Municipalities of Durham, Halton, Peel and York; and Toronto Transit Commission. The Data Management Group (DMG) is the custodian of the data sets derived from the Transportation Tomorrow Surveys on urban travel conducted every five years since 1986. The Data Management Group also conducted and managed the TTS survey from 1991 to 2011.
